Cancellation Policy

Dear Prospective Client, Thank you for choosing to use Tontex Gardens. IMPORTANT Please read through this document for your information. ◆ BOOKING: A non-refundable deposit of 60% of total cost is required to secure a date. Full payment shall be made at least two weeks before Event date. Your Package booking fee covers the facility and rentals (white plastic chairs, white plastic rectangular tables and canopies. A refundable deposit of N15,000 shall be paid as Caution fee, to cover for basic damages by guests/event decorators, and non-compliance with removal of decor equipment/materials. For major damages, the client will have to replace the damaged items. DECORATIONS/RENTALS: ◆ All items brought into the garden must be retrieved from the garden immediately after the Event to get the caution fee refunded. The Caution fee will be deployed to hire hands to remove items left behind, to the Mechanics village. ◆ Decorations requiring on-Site construction will attract a surcharge of N25,000 (twenty-five thousand naira) only. Space will be provided on Hard ground. No Construction on the grass!! Please refer your Planner/Decorator to this Agreement, to avoid arguments. GUESTS: Clients are advised to consider their intended guest size in determining their package choice. Guests are not allowed to place their chairs and tables along the driveway and patio (front of office/shop) during events. Tampering with Plants and Flowers is highly prohibited. CONDITIONS FOR LAWN AREA HIRE. Other activities can concurrently take place in the garden. An exclusive use of the garden (i.e a client who does not want to share the garden space) will necessarily include payment for a second package (Carpet Grass Lawn, PH Grass lawn, or Conservatory). CO-OPERATION - There are designated areas for the Band stand, BBQ, Ice-Cream Machine, Food and Drinks, construction of decoration designs, etc. Clients are to inform service providers & MCs about these ground rules. Waste disposal bags/baskets will be provided. Tontex is hereby appealing for cooperation with her staff to ensure preservation of the environment and safety for all. CHILDREN’S EVENTS: Parent/Minders to Children’s ratio is 1:10 for effective supervision. Tontex insists that clients provide at least two adults to man the gate to prevent unsupervised movement of children out of the gate. EVENT DURATION: The garden centre is available for: Daytime 10am to 6pm and Evening events 1pm – 9pm. Extensions are not allowe
